The inn has a charming Old School vibe, with clean rooms and welcoming staff. However, the breakfast could use improvements, and the bathroom felt a bit dated. Overall, it's a decent find near town, but expectations should be managed for a retro experience.

We had an amazing time at the North Atlantic Blues Festival! The kids loved the vibrant atmosphere, and the live music was a hit for our whole family. The grounds of the inn were well-kept, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making our stay memorable.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly dining options at the inn.

missingWrote a review on Aug 23musty odor
However, a musty odor lingered in the room, reminiscent of an old, outdated closet, which detracted from the overall comfort. The vibe felt a bit worn, especially with outdated furnishings that may not appeal to everyone. Some rooms also lacked proper lighting, as there were issues with several lamps and light fixtures needing attention.

pleasant stay but some improvements needed
The coffee in the lobby was a nice touch, providing a welcoming start to the morning. Jill in the office was proactive, attempting to make things right after some shortcomings. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions.
The room lacked the attention to detail that I expected.
